Yes, the change is a big one, but it has to come inevitably, I guess.

Many homeschooling mums make use of their years of homeschooling experience to be engaged in education in one way of another, post homeschooling. That was one of the options for me too. I don't have the stats to how many homeschooling mums return to their previous field of expertise when their homeschooling days are over, but my guess is that it is very rare that they do. I'm sure there are examples of those who do, though.Hweehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10895959128588945675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2847571046883368877.post-39898480621303581702017-01-02T07:17:13.861+00:002017-01-02T07:17:13.861+00:00Happy New Year. This was a major change even though it was planned for years in advance, we still have home educated children and he has settled in very well. Interested that you managed to find a job so quickly. Thinking about what I might do post home education is something that goes through my mind occasionally. I really appreciate them. :-)

Yes, it was a difficult decision to send Tiger to school, especially when I know in my heart that homeschooling is a much better way, but circumstances and the family dynamics don't support that for now, so we just have to find a better solution that works for us. Maybe Tiger will decide that he wants to homeschool again in the future. That's always an option. :-)

School is ok. Tiger is not being challenged, which is not surprising, but he is enjoying the social side of it, and maybe that's what he needs for now.

I'm sorry I haven't been able to read anyone's blogs since I started work. I've missed reading your posts and chatting with you in the comments.

I imagine it was a huge decision placing Tiger in school. Did he settle into school quickly? Is he doing well?
